Leading Lines

This assignment was to take pictures that have depth. The particular technique we used to do so is called leading lines. This is, as you can tell from my example below, where there is a long line that draws your eyes from the front of the picture to the back where sometimes a subject is placed. I did my assignment and tried to really play with lighting and nature as well as the editing afterward. Enjoy!

  1. Your use of perspective, where you take us up a telephone pole or down a pool divider, works really well for me. I like being tricked by the photograph, and looking at your photos were very fun because they were playful and utilized leading lines quite well. The way you incorporate subjects into your photos without taking attention away from the depth is quite impressive.

  3. All of your photos are intense and bold! I like your spin on the assignment. I think the contrast is a little too strong. If you let some more mid tones show up then you will bee even more depth. Great job!
